"Mardi Gras" in Sydney

New Mardi Gras has announced a cash profit of $91,000 after a successful 2006 Season.
Marcus Bourget, Chair of New Mardi Gras said “This result should make everyone in Sydney smile. We have managed to produce a very successful Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Season while delivering a modest profit for the year, which is a pleasing result for the organisation. It is a step in the right direction and provides a solid foundation for NMG to move forward from.”
New Mardi Gras will be releasing a detailed annual report in June 2006, which will fully outline the financials for the 2005/06 period. Following adjustments to goodwill and write backs relating to taxation, New Mardi Gras anticipates a full year result of $154,000.
Sleaze 2005 and the 2006 Launch, Fair Day, Festival, Parade and Party contributed to these financial results as did the initial instalments received from the partnership with Gaydar.com.au.

On my last Saturday in Sydney I decided go with my friends Martin and Kohei went to the Big Parade ""Mardi Gras"Gray. At 5 o´clock Kohei will go back to Japan and I am sad, because he is a good guy and I will miss him a lot. I don´t want he will go back now. I´m very happy here.
The parade was fantastic, a lot homossexual. I ´ve never saw something like that, but it´s was a great Parede. It´s totally different from São Paulo Parede. I think it´s much more organized and safe than São Paulo Parede.
